Monastic Belltower

This monastery at the highest point on the island of Patmos was built with such symmetry that I could have taken pictures of it all day.*
*Kathy blogs from here up. Karin is sure that her father will do some as well. Note decreased level of sarcasm. Posted by Picasa

Left without Revelation

This is the view leaving the cave where St. John received the Revelation. Thankfully, the whole tour group was still there- no one was "left behind." Posted by Picasa

Ancient Corinth

This is the place that Ricardo Montalban was talking about- the Corinthian leather. St. Paul also wrote some letters to these people. Posted by Picasa

After a climb of more than 600 steps, they are greeted by a locked door to a closed monestery. Maybe they should but the closed 2 days a week sign at the bottom of the hill. Posted by Picasa

Monk-Mobile

Not as sweet a ride as the Pope-Mobile but better than scaling the rocks. Posted by Picasa

Mitch's Meteora Birthday

On the last day of the trip, these photos are in no particular order, the dynamic duo got a driver to take them to the Meteora- one of the 47 places Mitch has to go pre-death. Appropriate that he went on the day he celebrated eluding death for another 12 months. Posted by Picasa

Look...

There was a horse's ass on the trip. Posted by Picasa

Jazz hands

This display of jazz hands is the closest thing to dancing on the whole Greek adventure. Posted by Picasa

Play Zone

Kathy thought this was an artistic shot. I think it looks like a good place to play hide-and-go-seek. Posted by Picasa
If they were to switch positions, this would be PG-13. Posted by Picasa
