Kathy and Mitch went to Placentia, Belize to the ritzy Turtle Inn with their college buddies Mimi and Al Lodge. They had fun in stayed in a swank neato place. kathy drank and socialized while Mitch did snorkel and SCUBA. Posted by Picasa

No dancing?

Despite drinking this and MANY other alcoholic beverages, there are no photos of Kathy dancing on this trip! I call shenanigans! Posted by Picasa

4 Chairs

Check out the seating arrangment for Kathy, Mimi, Mitch and Al. Too bad it wasn't scenic. Posted by Picasa

In his natural state

Coffee was brought to deck daily. Mitch was in nirvana. Posted by Picasa

White Furniture Store

Of course Kathy liked the accomodations- check out all the white furniture! Posted by Picasa

Chagas Disease Anyone?

The insects which are the vectors of Trypanosoma Cruzi love thatched roofs in Central America such as the one over Mitch and Kathy's lush cabin. Posted by Picasa

Door de la John

This door carved and beautiful leads to the ..... toilet? Yes. Posted by Picasa

Douche al Fresca

That's French for shower on the patio- which is what the funsters did. They swear the walls were high and no one could see them. I think there are likely some Belizian pervs out there with webcams. Posted by Picasa

Foot Wash

Because you shower ouside, I guess you have to re-wash your piggies in this elaborate foot washing area. Posted by Picasa

Proof of Kathy Bathing area

Here is the walkway down to the outdoor shower. Also, if there was any doubt that this was the place Kathy bathed- evidence: L'Oreal Uber Moisturing shampoo and conditioner on the rock. Christina 'Michelle' her stylist would be happy to know her hair was well cared for on the trip. Posted by Picasa

Turtle Inn

As they were staying at the Turtle Inn, turtle stuff was around. Posted by Picasa

Another Turtle

Stone turtles are particularly slow moving Posted by Picasa

The "Runway"

Mimi walks out to the airstrip. It looks like a glorified driveway. I'm confident that if I showed this picture to my parents (aka Kathy and Mitch) and said, "Hey Mom and Dad, my plane's gonna land on this." They would definitely tell me that it was a horrible idea and not to go. Also of note, both are well insured. Posted by Picasa

Da Plane, Da Plane

Apparently, the little person, Tattoo, from Fantasy Island was inspired by some dude at the Belize airport. I guess the late-great Aaron Spelling once visited here too. Posted by Picasa
